Children's Mental Health Week 2021

It's the 1st of February and it's starting to feel like spring is on the way.  There's talk of school returning, not just yet, but it looks like things are more positive.

Lockdown has been hard on many of us.  That's why it's great timing that this is Children's Mental Health Week.

The theme for this year's Mental Health Week is "EXPRESS YOURSELF."  Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good.

Why not do something to express yourself? Like send a positive message to your form teacher, or send a drawing, a poem, a song that makes you feel good or a piece of creative writing?

Why not do something nice for someone else?  They might need their mood lifted too. Make someone in your house a cup tea for example! (Helping others helps you too.)
